Good morning! We are still having temperatures below freezing here and it pretty much has killed off many of the spring flowers, my poor Lilac bush is looking real sad. But I can make spring flowers and it cheers me up!! LOL
I did this for Sharri's Blast from the Past challenge over at Stamp TV. We are to do a card and to paper piece on it. Boy did I get into this challenge I used three different sets from Gina K. Designs to make my flower arrangement. Theresa Momber's set "Sending Sunshine" and "Purrr-fectly Delightful". Gina's set "Spring Florals.

The other things I used were Prisma pencils, lace from JoAnnes, Rhinestone stickers. The DP is Crafty Secrets and the card stock is from Gina K. Designs. Hope you like my spring floral arrangement.

Some Gift boxes

Hello! Hope you are all well and able to stamp. Did any of you watch the finale of "LOST" and what did you think of how it ended??? When I first watched it I thought they all had died in the crash and as it went on and on I thought they were in a parallel universe. LOL
I have a couple of challenge projects to show you. They are both a treat box that Karen had on her Anything but a card challenge, at Stamp TV.
The first one here is for the challenge at TMITA to use this image by Nina "Simple Pleasures" Patti Nelson brings us this weeks challenge. She wants us to use the "Simple Pleasures" image by Paper Cupcakes and do anything but a card with a birthday theme

This is the project using Karen's instructions to make this very cute and so easy treat box. I liked it so much, that is why I did the project above the same way. The box is one sheet of card stock scored and folded and no cutting!! I love this technique and will be doing more of them.

For the top box I used prisma pencils, nestabilities and card stock by Gina K. Designs.
For the last box I used Gina K. set "Owl Always Love You" Prisma pencils, card stock is GKD , nestabilities and the sentiment is from Gina's "Spring Mix" stamp set.

Hope you have a great week and thank you for stopping by.

Some photo's to share

Hi everyone! I have a couple photo's to share and a story. The other day I opened the blinds to the deck and woke up this beautiful fox sleeping on my deck! We both were so startled and just looked at each other. She took off and I didn't get a photo. (Still in shock). But there were two of them playing in the yard this morning and I snapped this photo of them in our neighbors yard. They are just beautiful and still have their winter coats. But I think they are Red Foxes and will be mostly red by summer.

Hope you like the photo's and have a nice day!

Quite a Catch! Zen Tangle

Hello! I have another challenge card and a new technique to show you. It is called Zen Tangle and mostly done in black and white using like a Micron pen. The challenge is over at SCS and they have a link here. The fish image is from Gina's new stamp set "Quite a Catch" by Gina K. Designs. I stamped the image and just doodled. How fun is that! I almost called this "Quite a Tail" but thought better of it because I have learned to be more careful of what I put in my titles. IYKWIM.

That's pretty much it! Oh I did use some corner punches. But it was a lot of fun.
Have a wonderful day and thanks for stopping by

Gina's Movie Magic DT Challenge

Hello! Are you ready for some fun? Gina's Challenge is choose a movie that you like and make a card inspired by that movie.
The movie that I decided on is "A River runs Through it" directed by Robert Redford. I love this movie. Here is a photo of the movie CD that inspired me.

Here is my card that I was inspired to make. I decided on Theresa Momber's new set "Gone Fishing" by Gina K. Designs, for my main image. But I never can stop there I also used the mountain background image from Theresa's "Happy Camper" and never one to stop too soon I also added part of the island image from "Life is Good"
This is also for Speedy the Cats Friends Challenge#2 over at Marks Finest Papers to use a corner punch.

Inside of the card I used Gina's " Masculine Messages" and Nina Brackett " Vintage Backgrounds" both of these sets are so perfect to add to any masculine cards. Card stock is by Gina K. Designs.

Basket of Pansie's

Hello! Good morning, hope you all had great mother's day!! My basket is for Gina's challenge to make a card or project using flowers. This project took me down memorie lane, I grew up on along the coast of California and spent a lot of time gathering shells along the beach. When my sister and I were little girls, we would make all kinds of things out of shells, necklace's , cover cigar boxes with shells and glue them on. We also made flower's using shells and pipe cleaner's. What fun we had. When Melanie Muenchinger came out with this set. " Gifts from the Sea" by Gina K. Designs. I was just thrilled!!
For the pansy's I used the clam shell for the flower and the star fish for the leaves.

Here is a huge close-up of the flower's.

I used copic's to color the petal's and sponged around the edges.
other supplies I used, MS punch, Basic Grey DP, Gina K Designs card stock and ribbon.
Gina has a tutorial on making the basket on Stamp TV.

Hope you have a wonderful day and thanks for stopping by.

Quite a Catch Blog Hop

Hello! Tonight we are showing more samples of this adorable stamp set "Quite a Catch" by Gina K. Designs. I'm having so much fun playing with this stamp set. Love the cute characters!
Now in this first card, I colored the images with copic's. Sponged the background. The foreground sand is copic's E31. The large fan shell I made using the Sunray technique, using Memento's Desert sand and Angel pink. I then used Spellbinder's nestabilities Big Scalloped oval.
The little shell in front is from Melanie Muenchinger's new set "Gifts from the Sea" by Gina K. Designs. Card stock is Red Hot and white from Gina K. Designs.

Now in my next project I made some napkin rings. Using " Quite a Catch" I stamped and colored the image with copic's ,then Sakura glaze pen for the shell of the crab and cut out the image . I then used a image from Gina's set "Organize It" stamped it in really rust ink . I then used Spellbinder's nestabilities label 6. Sponged with really rust and I attached it to the crab image. I rolled the label around a Liquid applique tube to give it a bend in the ring.

Here is what it looks like before I attached it around the napkin. Using a glue dot on one end to secure it. Note the arrow.

I thought this would be really cute for a place setting for a crab feed! I even was thinking it would be cute to stamp him on those white paper placemats.
