Speedy's Friends Challenge #27

Hi there! This week at Speedy's Friends, Vicki is challenging us to make a holiday card. Which is perfect as I really need to get mine going.


The image for my card is from "Greetings of the Season" by Mark's Finest Papers. We don't have Cardinals around here but we do have beautiful Blue Jays, so I went with that.
I colored the bird with copic's . Card stock and ribbon are from MFP and the Basic Grey DP is also from MFP.

Autumn Blessings

Hi there!! How you all doing? I have been playing around with my stamps and made this card for Vicki's sketch challenge over at Stamp TV.
The stamp set I used is Theresa Mombers new set " Fanciful Fall by GKD. The DP is Basic Grey and ribbon is from Mark's Finest Papers. I stamped the tree in black memento and added white gel pen to highlight. I used a small flower punch and added a half pearl. The sponging around the tree is Memento in Cantaloupe and Tangelo. The die cut is Spellbinders.


I really need to clean up this mess in my stamping area as I can't find a thing!!! But first I off to see what you all have been up to!

Halloween Card

Hello, today is diffidently a day to stay indoors! Been raining and the wind is really knocking those leaves down!! I finally got a card made using Theresa Momber's new set " Fanciful Fall".
I made this for Vicki's sketch challenge over at STV.


I colored with copic's and the DP is Basic Grey.

Speedy's Friends Challenge #26

Hello! Well the rain has come here in northern California and the first mention of that dreaded word, snow! But it is at 8 thousand feet. Thank goodness!!
Are you ready for another challenge? This week at Speedy's Friends Faith is asking us to make a card or project using a die cut or punch. Speedy Friends challenge is also celebrating it's six month anniversary!! GO SPEEDY GO!!!


I used Mark's Finest Papers stamp set " A Walk in the Woods" for the tree images. I love this set!
I sponged the background, colored with Prisma pencils. Nestabilities, ovals. Card stock is MFP. DP is from my scrape pile.

MFP October Release Day 2

Welcome to day two of Mark's Finest Papers October stamp release. The samples I have here today is from the newly released set "Greetings of the Season. This set is gorgeous and perfect for the upcoming holidays ( yikes, did I just say that!!!). For my first card I did a traditional red Cardinal. The birds were colored with prisma pencils and the rest with copic's. The ribbon and card stock is from MFP and the DP is from my leftover stash, I think it is from SU.



I just couldn't pass up doing the female Cardinal, I think she is every bit as pretty as the male!!

MFP October Release

Hello! My card today is a sample of the newly released stamp set "Time to Chill" by Mark's Finest Papers. This set is so cute and you will love all the fabulous samples the MFP team has to show you. I colored the image with copic's and sponged in the background with SU ink pads. The card stock is by MFP and DP is Basic Grey. I stamped the snowflakes in Ballet Blue and add stickles ( which didn't show up that well.

Why I haven't been around much....

Hello, I thought I'd let you know, what's been going on. For the last couple of month I have been having Gall Bladder attacks and feeling not so good. Last Thursday I had it removed!! I'm feeling still sore but improving each day. I will be back in full swing soon!! Off to see what you all have been up to and enjoy those gorgeous creations ! Maybe I will even do some stamping today!

On Tuesday Faith ( Mark's Finest Papers) will be releasing some fabulous new stamp sets, be sure to stay tuned!!

Snowman Country

Hello! It's a cool rainy day perfect for stamping!! The card I have here is for todays challenge over at SCS. To split our image. I really like this technique and decided to play.
The snowman image is sneak peek of a soon to be released set from Mark's Finest Papers " Snowman Country" and the background trees are from another sneak peek from MFP "A walk in the Woods".


I added pink to the scarf in honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month. The snowman is colored with copic's and the background is sponged with Stampin' up ink. All card stock is by MFP.
